JOHOR BAHRU, 7 Oktober 2015 – The University Management Committee meeting dated August 20th 2015 has endorsed the administration of Tun Ghafar Baba Residence (TGBR) to be transferred to the Business Development Unit (BDU) which is placed under the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development).
Among the objectives of the establishment of TGBR were to generate income for the university, to assist in handling rental applications from non community members of UTM, and to provide reasonably priced rental accommodation to external parties such as schools, government agencies and private sectors.
The TGBR administration prior to this was placed under the management of the Office of Student Affairs and Alumni.   Official matters should now be addressed to:
