JOHOR BAHRU, Mar 31 – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is honoured to announce the selection of one of its stellar students, Muhamad Amirul Danish Amran, from the Faculty of Educational Sciences and Technology (FEST), as an RHB Campus Ambassador for the 2026 cohort. This achievement is particularly significant as Amirul is the sole representative from UTM, placing him among the nation’s elite. He successfully navigated a highly competitive selection process, emerging as one of only 30 students chosen from a massive pool of over 700 applicants across 20 public universities in Malaysia. His selection secures UTM’s representation in this prestigious national talent development programme, highlighting the quality of talent nurtured at the university.

The rigorous selection process required candidates like Amirul to submit a solid professional resume and participate in an intensive, in-person interview. Key criteria emphasised a strong Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and a solid overall background, ensuring that Amirul and his fellow ambassadors possess the essential combination of academic excellence and high potential for professional growth. This focus underscores that the RHB Campus Ambassador programme seeks out well-rounded individuals ready to take on the challenges of corporate ambassadorship.

Key sessions he participated in included a detailed briefing on Program 2026 objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), an RHB Brand Overview, Product Knowledge focusing on the RHB mySiswa Card, specialised training in Social Media and Digital Marketing, a crucial Money Matters Workshop, and a practical experience activity known as The Secret Mission, a Mystery Shopper Challenge.

Upon his selection and following the intensive Onboarding Day, Amirul shared his perspective on this significant milestone. “To be selected from over 700 applicants and to be the sole representative for UTM is truly an honour and a huge responsibility,” he said.

“I am most excited about the structured development opportunities. Beyond professional skills, I believe the focus on promoting financial literacy is vital. This is not just about a title; it is about gaining Exclusive Access to industry leaders and building a lifelong network.
