FSSH Togetherness Day: Unite Trough Nature

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the FSSH Togetherness Day Programme, in line with the theme ‘Unite Through Nature’ aimed to strengthen the bond between FSSH staff as well as to produce a happy, connected, engaged, and productive team of FSSH staff, with lasting impact on their work motivation and culture.

UTM Honoured to Design HSE 4.0 Software for UMW Corporation

UTM had handed over the HSE 4.0 software developed for UMW Corporation Sdn Bhd in a simple ceremony held at UMW Aerospace Sdn Bhd (subsidiary companies of UMW Corporation) in Serendah, Hulu Selangor yesterday. The software was developed by UTM MaGICX at the cost of RM1.5 million grant provided by the UMW Corporation since January 2019.

GCRF Newcastle University Research Visit 2020

A research visit from Newcastle University (NU) was held to visit the Malaysia Collaboratory team. Malaysia Collaboratory team consists of researchers from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed). The purpose of the research visit was to understand and discuss work progress and future directions of the research work carried out by respective workstreams. Dr. Claire Walsh and Dr. Jaime Amezaga were the representatives from Newcastle University. 

UTM Expert Won Malaysian Institute of Chemistry Citation Award

Dr. Mohd Bakri Bakar from the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) was selected as the recipient of Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM) Citation Award for the year 2019. This award is in recognition of his contribution, passion, dedication, and excellence towards making a positive impact on the advancement of chemical sciences, especially in Malaysia. This award also signified his strong background in programming chemical sciences strategic initiatives, developing engagement activities with various stakeholders, and leading national and international level programs.

Revisiting The Physics Of The Atomic Nucleus

The 8th Winter School of Nuclear Science was held at the Faculty of Science from 10th to 12th December 2019 with aimed to foster young talents in the field of nuclear physics with emphasis on the theoretical aspect.

50 Students Participated In The GTM Plan Competition 2020

The GTO Competition 2020 provided opportunities for marketing students to collaborate in the marketing initiatives, as well as being a platform for them to gain real experience in commercializing real commercial products.

Turning Classroom Learning Upside Down

UTM Expert successfully challenged the participants of World Engineering Education Forum 2020 to use problems as the starting point of learning by turning the classroom upside down.
