The Ranking Web of Repositories has positioned UTM-Institutional Repository (http://eprints.utm.my/) at first place among Malaysian web institutional repositories for the January 2015 ranking. UPM-IR and USM-IR closely trailed in no 2 and 3.
After UPM intercepts UTM in recent Webometric Ranking of Universities in January 2015 edition, UTM still managed to outperform the Ranking of Web Repositories . In the Web Repositores World Ranking UTM ranked 80th and is right up behind Harvard University digital access (79th).
