FEST: A New Era of Educational Excellence

The transformation of the School of Education under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) into the newly established Faculty of Educational Sciences and Technology (FEST) marks a pivotal milestone in the university’s strategic journey toward academic and professional excellence. This restructuring, officially approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) on October 30, 2024, reflects the institution’s proactive response to global trends in education, particularly the integration of TVET, STEM, AI, and a holistic educational ecosystem.

This strategic move stems from a clear vision to prepare future-ready graduates equipped with transdisciplinary skills to address the complexities of modern industries and societies. The faculty is committed to enhancing teaching, research, and community engagement by emphasizing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration. By focusing on these areas, the faculty aims to bridge theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring graduates are not only career-ready but also contributors to sustainable societal development.
