MSC Construction Contract Management Students Learnt Contract First-hand Through Visit to UK

Six MSc. Construction Contract Management students were in the UK for twelve days from 29th March to 9th April 2019 as part of a study visit organised for the program. The eye-opening study tour was aimed to expose the students with the UK construction industry, taking the industry contractual advancement as one of the prime examples for comparison with the Malaysian construction industry. The visit proved to be effective, where recent cases unique to the UK environment and examples were shared among the students by the hosts.

UTM QS Delegates Making an Impact in The Annual Pacific Association Of Quantity Surveyors Congress (PAQS) 2019

The land of the hornbills was bustling with jubilance for five days from 23rd to 27th August 2019 when the local and international QS professionals from around Asia and the western pacific region were in town for the annual Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors Congress 2019 (PAQS 2019). UTM was represented by 12 strong delegates from the QS program who had participated in various capacities from organising, judging poster presentation and presenting conference papers during the five days congress.

JOHOR BAHRU, 27 MARCH 2019 – UTM students triumphed once again in the latest edition of RISM-RICS ISCU 2019 held on 27th April 2019 at University of Reading Malaysia (UoRM) campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The conference this year, with the theme ‘Surveyors Beyond Surveying: Future Trends for Generations Z’ had featured talks by invited keynote and plenary sessions speakers from four surveying disciplines, who have shared their knowledge and achievements to all aspiring participants.
