Kuala Lumpur- UTM Kuala Lumpur received a courtesy visit from a delegation of Ajou University, South Korea led by Vice President for International Affairs, Ajou University, South Korea which are Prof. Dr. Jake Lim and his team, Troy B. Felver and Rachel Kwon on 22 January 2020.
Upon arrival, they were greeted by the Associate Director UTM International Kuala Lumpur, Associate Professor Dr. Norhayati Abdullah and accompanied by Assistant Registrar and Executive Officer, also from UTM International Kuala Lumpur.
She initiated a brief on UTM and then opened the session for discussion between the two universities. As a representative of Ajou University, Prof. Jake Lim offered to reactivate the past collaboration between UTM and Ajou University in the year 2011. The meeting took place at Menara Razak, attended by UTM staff as well as the delegates from Ajou University.
He is looking forward to have a collaboration on a mobility program and organize summer school program which is to be managed by UTM International and other faculties. He welcomes UTM Engineering students to visit Ajou University.
Delegates were also informed about the University President Forum 2020 and they were looking forward to getting the related brochures. It is hoped that UTM will receive and explore more opportunities for cooperation with universities in South Korea.
