The Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) Annual Dinner and Awards 2019 was held in a glamorous and glittering ceremony at the Grand Ballroom, New World Hotel Petaling Jaya on Saturday 29th June 2019. The ceremony was to honour and award the achievements of architects and students of Architecture in Malaysia throughout the preceding year. In this ceremony, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) was again brought into prominence when half of the student awards were bagged by students of Architecture from the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, UTM. The PAM Inovar Awards were presented to two Master of Architecture Students, one of whom is a 1st year Master of Architecture student from FABU UTM. The student, David Nee Zhi Kang was awarded a scholarship of RM10,000. For the Bachelor of Science in Architecture PAM Feruni Awards, two of the four students who were awarded the scholarship were also students of Architecture from FABU UTM. M Hayat Azizi bin Nik Wan Megat, a 1st year student, was awarded a scholarship of RM10,000 for his remaining 2 years of study in the programme while Haziq Aiman bin Ismail, a 2nd year student was awarded RM5,000.
