JOHOR BAHRU, 6 March – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) together with Rafale International successfully held the Rafale Technology Day at Ibnu Sina Institute, Johor Bahru campus.

The occasion was officially opened by Dean of Transportation Research Alliance, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Nazri Mohd. Ja’afar.

Program Coordinator, Abd. Basit Abd. Rahman said that this program aimed to expose the latest development in French aeronautical engineering sector.

“This second Rafale Technology Day conference provides the platform for industry players and students to hear and discuss the latest developments and challenges in aviation and ground transportation engine technologies.

“Several Rafale technical personnel were also present to share their expertise such as Sales and Marketing Director Snecma Safran, Jean-Luc Meiffren, Nicolas Jeuland, Head of the ‘Fuel-Lubricants and Emissions and New MRO development by Deputy Research and Technology Director Snecma Safran, Yves Desvallees,” he said.

Also giving the lecture was Dean of Transportation Research Alliance himself. The French experts were later brought to the UTM Aeronautical Lab for the official visit.
