FBetween August 24th and September 7th, 2023, 11 enthusiastic students from the Muroran Institute of Technology in Japan participated in the UTM SUMMER SCHOOL – LANGUAGE & CULTURE INTEGRATION IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION 2023. Hosted by the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), the program aimed to provide students with a rewarding experience. The program comprised English language classes, immersive engineering laboratory sessions, captivating lectures on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and exciting excursions to picturesque locations such as Kuala Lumpur City, Putrajaya, and Melaka, a historical gem.

The Muroran Institute of Technology students were delighted with the program content and the warm hospitality they received throughout their mid-stay. It is worth noting that MuroranIT is a valued member of the Japanese University Consortium and actively collaborates with MJIIT in academic and research pursuits. The success of this initiative has raised hopes for its continuation as an annual tradition, further strengthening the bonds of academic exchange and cultural understanding between the two institutions.
