On 6th to 10th June 2022, the Razak Faculty of Technology & Informatics (RFTI), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), warmly welcomed delegates from the Silpakorn University (SU), Thailand for a Summer School Program with the theme “ASEAN BUSINESS & INFORMATICS POST-PANDEMIC”. The delegation from SU consisted of seven students and five academicians. The visit was aimed to initiate collaboration in various academic activities such as research, sharing of teaching techniques, laboratory visits and various other activities between academic staff from SU and UTM. This collaboration will be able to expand UTM’s cooperation at the ASEAN level to get more international student prospects from the archipelago.
There were various activities organized throughout the program, including a Letter of Collaboration (LoC) signing ceremony, academic sharing by Dr Hafiza Abas, an introduction to the department and faculty, an introduction to Malaysian traditional games and an academic visit to Aquaria, KLCC.
The delegates seem to enjoy the program and their stay at UTM and it is with a high hope that they will gain a lot of valuable experience and have a great time here. Looking forward to more interesting activities with SU in the future.
