What is 5ETP?
5ETP is a new programme launched by UTM via the collaboration of the Office of Student’s Affairs & Alumni and the Office of Academic and Internalisation which offers up to RM50,000 a year to first year students to carry out programmes in the following 5 fields:
- Nobel laureate excellent track
- Sports excellent track
- Leadership excellent track
- Entrepreneurship excellent track
- Tahfiz excellent track (for Muslim students only)
Who is 5ETP for?
5ETP is set up especially for the first year students from all courses. All first year students may apply for any field they are interested in. Hurry up though as places are limited to 50 students only (with 10 students in each tracks).
Why 5ETP?
With the grant that students will receive from 5ETP, they will be able to carry out programmes such as various trainings and courses, field trips and so on. These programmes will benefit them into expending their talents, skills, interests and creativity in the respective fields. With this, students will be better equipped with knowledge and skills needed to be world class graduates.
