Dr. Nurbiha A Shukor, the UTM Open Education Resource Manager from UTMLead has volunteered to be one of the mentors and was selected among 12 other mentors for the Open Education for Better World Project (OE4BW) project.
The UTM Academic Leadership Center (UTMLead) with Faculty of Education organized New Academia Learning Innovation (NALI) 2018 Symposium to further promote best practices and sharing of New Academia Learning Innovation implementation in higher education. It gathered 22 presenters including presenters from Indonesia and local teacher. There are also delegation from Sunway College Johor Bahru who attended the Symposium to participate. All the presented papers were published in online proceeding that can be downloaded from http://ctl.utm.my/nali2018.
Hitachi Scholarship Research Support Program 2018 is a new program that offers research grant to the faculty member of eligible universities in South East Asia region. The scholarship provides an opportunity for researchers to conduct research in Japan for the maximum of one year.
The successful applicants are Dr. Ebrahim Abouzari-lotf from the Centre of Hydrogen Energy, Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering and Dr. Hafiz Dzarfan Othman from the Department of Energy Engineering, Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering. Congratulations to both of them.
