Among the victims of the sudden tragedy of flight MH 17 are two UTM alumni, namely Ng Shi Ing, 31, from Muar and Ariza Ghazalee, 46, from Sarawak. Ng Shi Ing was a UTM TESL alumnus, while Ariza Ghazalee was a UTM Civil Engineering alumnus.

Heartfelt condolences to both family and friends of both alumni. We pray that God will give you all the patience and strength to face this tragic moment. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this hour of grief.
