MJIIT Students Explore STEM Program with Industry Leaders

KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 – The Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) recently hosted a one-day STEM program titled “STEM Competition, Knowledge and Career Sharing 2025.” This event was organised in collaboration with Technip Energies and Yayasan Sukarelawan Siswa (YSS) under the Ministry of National Unity (KPN). The primary goal of the program was to spark student interest in engineering careers, innovation, and national collaboration through industry exposure.

Held in the Sakura Room at MJIIT, UTM Kuala Lumpur, the program drew the participation of 13 MJIIT students, comprising both local and international undergraduates from Year 1 to Year 4. Although the group was small, it represented the diversity of MJIIT’s student body. Their active engagement throughout the event demonstrated a strong enthusiasm and curiosity for learning connected to industry practices.
