JOHOR BAHRU, 18 Feb – The UTM Toastmasters Club (UTMTMC) successfully hosted its International Speech and Evaluation Contests, celebrating excellence in communication and leadership. The event highlighted the skills and confidence of the participants, with four winners emerging to represent the club in the upcoming Area Contest on April 12, 2025.

Ts. Dr. Suhana Mohamed Sultan from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE) emerged as the champion of the International Speech Contest, while Dr. Rozana Alik, also from FKE, secured the first runner-up position.
In the Evaluation Contest, Haszuraidah Ishak from FKE claimed the championship title, with Ng Chor Hong from the Faculty of Science taking the first runner-up spot.
These outstanding speakers showcased their ability to communicate ideas clearly and provide insightful feedback—skills that are essential in both academia and professional life.

Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Hybrid format: Join us via Zoom or in person at Perpustakaan Sultanah Zanariah, Bilik Seminar 3, Level 4.
Special Ramadhan Schedule:
On March 4th and 18th, meetings will take place earlier, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. These sessions will be fully online via Zoom.
