Alumni of the Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) had gathered to welcome new students from the 2020/2021 session. There was a video created to give early exposure to the freshman about what it is like to study at the faculty including their learning processes and personal experiences.
Four selected alumni were given a chance to share their remarkable experiences and their cherished moments throughout their studies; Teo Hwee Li, Santush Suras Kumar, Ali Aqeel Salim, and Aina Mardia Adnan. The fruitful video was created by its Directors, Dr. Sheela Chandren and Dr. Ezza Syuhada together with its production team, Dr. Mohd Farizal Ahmad Kamaroddin, Aimi Alina Hussin, Nur Amira Hidayah Ahmad, and Nur Fakhira Mohd Asri.
The sharing in the video focused more on how students cope with their academics and students’ life. The Faculty of Science offers a lot of opportunities for holistic development to polish up skills and competency. In brief, the video was developed on the basis of different facets of the alumni experience which is from their educational journeys until their successful participation in various extra-curricular activities held by the faculty.
