The MAPEK ’19 club introduction ceremony (MAPEK ’19) was a program organized by the Student Residential College Committee (JKM) 2019/2020 session to provide every club within the college and at UTM to introduce their respective clubs to UTM students especially to new students. The program was held at the Dewan Sri Resak, Tun Dr. Ismail College and officiated by KTDI Principal, Lt Kol Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Noor Azli Bin Hj. Ali Khan. The program started at 8.30pm.
The goal in implementing this program was to encourage students to be more active and bold in learning new things. In addition, the program also aimed to produce students who can come up with good ideas and to prevent them from becoming too complacent in learning. Therefore, we gave students time to seize the opportunity to register for the clubs they were interested in under UTM as well as Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail.
Among the activities carried out during the program were the delegation ceremony by the JKM session 2018/2019 to JKM 2019/2020, the swearing-in ceremony by JKM members 2019/2020 sessions, silat performances by Persatuan Seni Silat Cekak UTM (PSSC UTM), performances from Aksara Resak Club and more. In addition, we sang the Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail song that was rearranged by Aksara Resak club. This song is an identity song of KTDI that will be sung in every program organized by KTDI.
