Johor Bahru, 15 June 2015 –  UTM received guests from the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU), Prime Minister’s Department. The ICU delegation comprised of three members, led by Puan Mutazira Abdul Mubin, Deputy Director, Statutory Bodies & Institutional Development Division, ICU.

The visit began with a briefing on UTM’s key performance indicators report for the year 2014; performance/progress of UTM’s development projects under the Ninth and Tenth Malaysia Plans; and UTM financial report. The briefing was then followed by a discussion session. Before leaving UTM, the ICU delegation made a site visit to UTM Stadium which is one of UTM’s development projects under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.

ICU’s visit to federal statutory bodies such as UTM, is aimed at looking into the management aspect of such bodies, assessing the performance of development programs/projects that have received development allocations, discussing the outcome evaluation of development programs/projects that have been implemented as well as checking compliance with circulars/circular letters.
