UTM students shine after winning many awards at the Innovate Malaysia (IMDC) 2013 competition, co-organised by MDec, TalentCorp, IEM, Agilent, Altera, Intel, NI, Siltera, CEDC and DreamCatcher. These outstanding students are from the UTM Faculty of Electrical Engineering and its Centre of Excellence, Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

UTM proudly won 2 First Prizes, 1 Crest Research Assistant Award and 6 Consolation Prizes in this 3rd Innovate Malaysia Design Competition (IMDC) 2013.

One of the First Prize Awards is in Altera Track (RM5000 and tPad DE2-111 Multimedia Development Kit), won by students Soon, Chun, Mein, Muhammad Noor b Muhammad, Mohd Farizal for their project titled “Implementation of LED Display Controller Using System On Chip Approach”.
