UTM Johor Bahru, 24 June – The air pollutant index (API) for Johor Bahru has dropped dramatically which gives relief to all Johor Bahru residents. UTM in-campus students can finally wake up to clearer blue skies thanks to favourable winds but still hoping for the rain to come.

The latest figures released by the Department of Environment (DOE) showed that Johor Bahru recorded an API of 107 as at 11am today.

The DOE classifies any API reading above 301 as hazardous, 201 to 300 as very unhealthy, 101 to 200 as unhealthy, 51 to 100 as moderate and 0 to 51 as good.
