Summary: Disney, world famous brand for cartoon movies making has teamed up with a local modest wear label to come with a collection inspired by the strong, spirited warrior princess, Raya. The collection of Calaqisya features details of thematic motifs of Raya and The Last Dragon. The prints are said to denote the South-East Asian identity, culture and heritage. Raya and The Last Dragon depicts a princess who embarks on a journey to save the mystical land of Kumandra by searching for the world’s last dragon. Established by three sisters, Yana, Farah and Azrina, Calaqisya started its journey in a small room within Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor back in 2010.
