UTM-IR ranks first in Ranking Web of Repositories

The Ranking Web of Repositories has positioned UTM-Institutional Repository (http://eprints.utm.my/) at first place among Malaysian web institutional repositories. Congratulations UTM-IR!

UTM IBS (http://www.ibs.utm.my/) website on the other hand managed to secure their ranks the third highest among Malaysian Business Schools listed by the Webometrics Ranking Web of Business Schools.

The “Ranking Web of World Repositories” and “Ranking Web of World Business Schools” are the initiatives of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.The aim of this Ranking is to support Open Access initiatives and therefore the free access to scientific publications in an electronic form and to other academic material. The web indicators are used here to measure the global visibility and impact of the Business Schools.
