High Impact Journal Writing Workshop
Faculty of Engineering UTM has conducted the High Impact Journal Publication Workshop on 14th-15th of January 2019, specifically aimed to boost the number of paper publication in Q1 and Q2 journals. . This initiative under the leadership of Prof. Dr Naomie Salim, Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation) targeted those who have high potential to publish their research in Q1 and Q2 indexed journals.

Faculty of Engineering MyRA-Research Data Extraction Workshop
Faculty of Engineering has taken an early initiative for 2019 by organising a briefing on MyRAII glossary data extraction. The event was kicstarted by Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr Naomie Salim. The goal for the half-day workshop is to create awareness amongst Research Group (RG) leaders and Directors of Research Centers under Faculty of Engineering.
Faculty of Engineering International Research Grant Day
UTM Faculty of Engineering hosted a two-day International Research Grant Workshop for over 150 participants. The eye-opening event took place at UTM Talent Transformation Centre (TTC) from 19th to 20th of December 2018. The event exhibits the collaboration among the schools under Faculty of Engineering since the recent launch of synergy by the university. The 2-day sharing session covers the overview in applying international grant from Europe, Middle East and ASEAN countries. The organizing committee under the stewardship of Prof. Dr. Naomie Salim, the Deputy Dean (Research & Innovation) Faculty of Engineering hope that this event will yield a fruitful result. One of the chief targets of the event is to increase the fund granted to UTM from international bodies.
