17 March 2017 : UTM and the National Young Women’s Empowerment Conference 2017 team would like to extend our highest gratitude for the arrival of HRH Raja Zarith Sofia Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, Permaisuri of Johor to the event held today. HRH Permaisuri of Johor officiated the opening ceremony of National Young Women’s Empowerment Conference 2017 and also gave a keynote speech during the opening ceremony. NYWEC 2017 and all the participants of NYWEC 2017 were delighted by the arrival of HRH Raja Zarith Sofia Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah .
National Young Women’s Empowerment Conference 2017 (NYWEC’17) is the first women oriented conference organised by 5 Excellent Tracks Programme (5ETP) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
NYWEC’17 is a three days two nights conference with interesting and impactful programs focusing on empowering young women. This conference gathers female students from all around Malaysia and from neighbouring countries to join together in order to exchange ideas and experiences among them. The programmes main objective is to empower more young women to make lasting impacts to themselves, the society and the nation.
