Prof. Ramlan Abdul Aziz was elected as new chairman of the Biotechnology Skills Development Advisory Committee (Jawatankuasa Penasihat Pembangunan Kemahiran Bioteknologi, Kementerian Sumber Manusia) for two years from today.

The Committee is responsible for developing programs under the National Occupational Skill Standard (NOSS), which the skilled staff can be produced from among the Malaysians for the purpose of meeting the requirements of specific industries.
