Harita Go Green Sdn. Bhd., a Biotechnology company from Malacca has agreed to do a collaborative research project with IBD under the topic of ‘Bioprocess Development for Semi-industrial Production of Bacillus thuringiensis: A Biocontrol Agent Against for Agriculture Application’.   The main objective of this research collaboration is toward product development of Bacillus thuringiensis as biocontrol agent for agricultural application. This is a one year research work involving optimization of high cell mass production concomitant with high spore production and toxin crystals formation by Bacillus thuringiensis in pilot-plant cultivation.
