The seminar synthesised thoughts and information, with most Semesters 4 and 5 students actively engaging in physical and virtual spaces. Those who attended the event in person gathered in the prestigious Seminar Hall at Menara Tun Razak, UTM KL, while others participated virtually via the Webex online platform.

The presentations made during the seminar were a testament to the postgraduate students’ commitment and labour of love. The audience was captivated by each presenter’s deft explanation of their research’s significant and compelling elements. Attendees were able to get important insights into several fields of study within the social sciences and humanities thanks to this interdisciplinary approach.

The immediate feedback provided to the presenters following their presentations was one of the seminar’s primary features. Esteemed faculty members and fellow students participated in fruitful discussions, offering insightful comments and suggestions to help improve the ongoing research projects. The participants found this portion of the seminar to be very beneficial in assisting them to improve their work and foster their academic growth.

This seminar exemplifies our commitment to encouraging academic achievement and supporting a collaborative research environment. Our students will continue to be inspired to excel in their academic endeavours by the experience they acquired from this event, we are confident in that,” she said.

Hopes for future iterations of the FSSH UTMKL Graduate Seminar have been boosted by the enthusiastic response and attendance shown by the participants. The organising committee is dedicated to maintaining this legacy of academic achievement and hopes to keep the seminar an annual event, encouraging a culture of inquiry, mutual support, and scholarly growth within the university’s postgraduate community.
