FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ANNOUNCEMENT
WORK FROM HOME (WFH) IMPLEMENTATION CONTINUED
EFFECTIVE 9 NOVEMBER 2020 UNTIL 6 DECEMBER 2020
Referring to the announcement made by the National Security Council (MKN) on 7 November 2020 regarding the implementation of Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) across all states except for Perlis, Pahang and Kelantan starting 9 November until 6 December 2020, the University management has decided that the Work From Home (WFH) directive is extended following the announcement by MKN.
All staff at Johor Bahru, Pagoh and Kuala Lumpur campuses are required to work from home except those carrying out essential services. The number of staff allowed to work in the office should not exceed 25%. This also depends on the current situation as well as by the discretion of the Head of the Department (PTJ).
All staff need to record their working hours from home via GPS Check-In/Out available on UTMSmart application. Failure to do so is an offence and strict action can be taken as stipulated in the rules and regulation of the university. All staff are also reminded to always abide by the WFH rules and regulations as specified by the Public Service Department (JPA).
Staff who are involved in essential services must follow the Guideline for Entering and Exiting Campus and UTM community members are required to always follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) issued by the National Security Council (MKN), Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH), and Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
