The International Webinar Series on Computational Fluid Dynamics 2020 (IWSCFD 2020) was successfully organized by two research groups (Fluid Mechanics and Industrial and Scientific Computation) from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 1st to 3rd September 2020 through Webex online platform.
With the aim to expand the network of international relations, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the International Education Colloquium (IEC) Program with Ho Chi Minh National University, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSSH), Vietnam on 22nd September 2020. This virtual colloquium which focuses on social science research in educational studies, international relations and language is the first collaboration between two renowned universities in the South East Asian region.
Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UTMSPACE in which the MoU will build on the collaboration between the University and Port Industry leader to develop and offer professional qualifications related to the ports and logistics management system.
Teaching Enhancement & Learning Innovation Carnival 2020 (eTeLiC’20) is the first-ever virtual carnival organized by Center for Academic Excellence and Development (CAED), Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) Office, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) with the theme of New Norm: Cultivating Online Learning. Four teams of senior lecturers from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) have won three gold awards and one silver award.
Mask On UTM secretariat team, MSDeaf and PMWKL once again leaped at the opportunity to breathe in water, and this time around they underwent confined water training for PADI Open Water License at Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, Shah Alam, Selangor. This session was made exceptional as 4 male youngsters from B40 groups were funded to be part of the CSR Mask On UTM Project and attend the confined water training.
