The Second (2nd) Language and Communication Postgraduates International Seminar (LCPIS) was successfully organized by the Post Graduates Students’ Society of Language Academy (PGSS LA). The seminar was directed by Mr. Mohammad Ali Moslehifar, an LA PhD candidate together with his team. They were guided and advised by the PGSS LA advisor, Dr. Aminabibi Bte Saidalvi. This event was a continuation of the first (1st) LCPIS seminar which was organized by the Language Academy (LA) in 2017 and has gained participation not only from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) students but also from other universities around the world, with the total of 84 papers with various interesting topics. The uniqueness of this seminar was the inclusion of skype presentation alongside live presentation through parallel sessions. All presentations were properly monitored and assessed by experienced lecturers. At the end of the seminar, 3 best paper presenters as well as the best skype presenters were identified. This one-day seminar has indeed provided a platform for lecturers and students to exchange and share great ideas through intellectual discussions.
