JOHOR BAHRU, 29 Mar. — Congratulations to Sr Dr. Kamalahasan a/l Achu from Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying for being elected as the Chairman of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) Johor Branch for 2019/2020 session.
The installation was announced during the recent Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) Johor Branch Annual General Meeting held at Holiday Villa Johor Bahru on 29th March 2019 (Friday).
Sr Dr. Kamalahasan a/l Achu was previously the Vice-Chairman for the 2018/2019 session.
He was also the RISM Johor Honorary Secretary for the 2017/2018 session. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) also would like to congratulate 2 senior lecturers from the Faculty Of Built Environment and Surveying on their elections as the committee members at the same event.
Sr Dr. Fara Diva bt Mustapa was elected as the honorary secretary while Sr Dr. Tan Liat Choon was elected as the treasurer.
During this session, a total of 12 committee members consisting of practitioners and academicians who have been bestowed with “Sr” for earning full membership status from the RISM were elected to hold three different portfolios, namely the Property Surveying (PS), Geomatic and Land Surveying (GLS) and Quantity Surveying (QS).
