UTMBIOSS Boost Camp in 2016 Fosters Camaraderie among Chemical Engineering Students

MERSING, 19 March 2016 – Bioprocess Engineering Student Society of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTMBIOSS) has organized KIOSS Boost Camp 2016,  held at Voice’s Chalet, Mersing  from 18 to 19 March 2016. and involved 90 students.

90 Bioprocess Engineering students were involved in the program. Program Director Mohd. Zulfakri Mohd. Zainuddin said that the program aims to strengthen the physical and mental health of students who are going through a challenging life as university students.

“Among the activities conducted were ‘ice breaking’ sessions between ‘junior’ and ‘senior’ students, followed by a number of other activities such as tug-of-war. The participants were also divided into several groups to enable them to work together to develop strategies and teamwork in competing against other groups, “he said.

The program was officiated by UTMBIOSS patron, Dr. Liza Md. Salleh.
