Feb 20, UTM Kuala Lumpur – As part of MJIIT Leadership Lecture Series, YBhg. Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, Chairperson of Air Asia X and Former Minister of International Trade and Industry from 1987 to 2008, visited MJIIT, UTM Kuala Lumpur, to deliver a lecture titled “Japan-Malaysia Relations beyond the Look East Policy”.

In this lecture, she talked on Malaysia-Japan relations under the new dynamics of the regional and global environment as well as the expectations for all students of MJIIT for the further development of innovative Malaysia in order to achieve Vision 2020. MJIIT students surely gained a lot of insights and encouragement to excel in their academic endeavours.

MJIIT Leadership Lecture Series provides a platform for representatives from government and industrial circles to share their knowledge and experience. These lectures serve to motivate MJIIT students to understand the social, cultural, global and environmental responsibilities of a professional engineer, and the need for sustainable development and that of managerial and entrepreneurial skills.

Also present were, H.E. Prof. Masahiko Horie, former Ambassador of Japan to Malaysian, YBhg. Prof. Dr. Wahid Omar, UTM Vice Chancellor and UTM Senior Officers.
