The Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) proudly commemorates the successful culmination of the UTM Nexus Expo 2023 (NEXPO), a groundbreaking innovation program inaugurated by YB Dato’ Mohammad Yusof Haji Apdal, Timbalan Menteri Pendidikan Tinggi Malaysia. Taking place on October 25th and 26th, 2023, at Residensi UTM KL, Malaysia, NEXPO 2023 served as a vibrant platform fostering scientific and social exchanges. Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr. Rosli Md. Noteworthy highlights encompassed the Corporate Social Initiative (CSI) by Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), offering free health screenings, and UTM Get Hired, providing career opportunities and industry internships for students.
NEXPO’s main events, such as the International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Accounting (ICRIIS-META) and the International Seminar on Aeronautics and Energy 2023 (ISAE), featured keynote addresses and interactive panel discussions advancing the national innovation ecosystem.
This gathering brought together 1,459 stakeholders from diverse fields of industries, showcasing engaging and productive collaboration. Representatives from government agencies, industry partners, students, and university staff enriched discussions with multifaceted perspectives.
