Kuala Lumpur, 25 October 2018 – UTM Kuala Lumpur received the arrival of Gadjah Mada University representatives led by Dr. Gugup Kismono; Rector’s Sectary, Prof. Dr. Indra Wijaya Kusuma; Director of Quality Assurance office, Dr. Hatma Suryatmojo; Director of Center for Academic Innovation and Policy and Ms. Rhamadinna Fatimah, Team Coordinator of WCU Program.

Their arrival was greeted by Prof. Dr. Nordin Yahya, Pro Vice Chancellor (International) and the team from Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS) which further explained about UTM and the UTM Global ranking, which became the main objective of their visit to UTM. The delegates would like to learn the best practices that have helped UTM become the top 300 QS-World University Ranking and the top 50 in Asia. They are keen to know about UTM’s strategies and initiatives towards becoming a world class institution.

Additionally, delegates were presented with a brief introduction and academic programs offered at AHIBS and before the visit ended, the delegates had the privilege to meet UTM Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Datuk Ir. Dr. Wahid Bin Omar and Prof. Ir. Dr. Zainuddin Abd Manan; the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) during the campus tour.
