FM Blood Donation Drive 2024: Promoting Health and Giving Back

JOHOR BAHRU, Dec 19 – The Faculty of Management (FM) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) demonstrated its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and giving back to the community by successfully hosting the FM Blood Donation Drive 2024. This impactful event, held in collaboration with Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA), included a blood donation campaign and a seminar on “Transfusion Transmitted Infections Among Blood Donors: Risks and Prevention,” presented by Dr. Nurhani Sham, a specialist from HSA.

Organized by fourth-year Bachelor of Management (Technology) students, the event embodies FM’s dedication to community well-being and aligns with the UTM ISES (Integrity, Synergy, Excellence, and Sustainability) mission and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being.
