Open Day Resak 2022 or known as OPERA’22, is a physical program organized by the Student Residential College Committee (JKM) 2021/2022 to introduce available facilities in KTDI such as sports courts and also common places in KTDI such as M01, Dataran Resak and Balai Cerap towards UTM students, especially freshman and to provide a platform for both local and international KTDI students to engage with each other and to some extent help them in social networking after being in lockdown during pandemic Covid-19 through an interesting way. OPERA’22 was conducted for three days, from 19th May to 21st May 2022. It started with the opening ceremony officiated by Kolej Tun Dr Ismail’s Principal, Lieutenant Colonel Professor Madya Dr Mohd Noor Azli Bin Hj. Ali Khan.

During the 3-day program, many exciting activities as in the poster have been conducted and welcomed by Kolej Tun Dr Ismail’s residents, such as Resak Run, Movie Night, Sports Games, Busking, KTDI Got Talent, Mini Traditional Games, Haunted House and Food Truck. The closing ceremony was held on 21st May 2022 and was officiated by Tn. Hj. Armadi Bin Ahmad, Director of UTM Sports Excellence.

During the opening ceremony, a welcoming speech was given by Kolej Tun Dr Ismail Principal, Lieutenant Colonel Professor Madya Dr Mohd Noor Azli Bin Hj. Ali Khan to welcome participants who joined the program as OPERA’22 is one of the first physical programs held after long periods of online programs conducted throughout the pandemic.

The activities have been successfully conducted according to plan, and the residents of Kolej Tun Dr Ismail seem to enjoy participating in the activities lined up for them, especially sports games that require sportsmanship. This proved that OPERA’22 aims to ensure that residents of Kolej Tun Dr Ismail’s engagement with each other have been successfully met.

During the closing ceremony, a speech was given from Tn. Hj. Armadi Bin Ahmad, Director of UTM Sports Excellence. Other than that, prizes and gifts were also given to the winners as a token of their hard work.
