A forum organized by Tun Dr. Ismail College (KTDI) student committee, ‘Tik Tok Generation: Beneficial for the Future?’ served as a platform for the panels to share their opinions and experiences.

The main objectives of this forum were to exchange opinions and gain knowledge on a particular topic. It was also held to encourage participants of the forum to participate, learn something new and increase their general knowledge.

It was led by one of the KTDI committee members, Mr. Mohammad Zabideen bin Khamisan, and assisted by several program advisors, Ts. Dr. Hadafi Fitri bin Mohd Latip, Mr. Muhammad Faris Hasbi bin Abd Rahim and Ms. Nurul Aliah Amirah binti Mazalan.

The forum started at 2.30 p.m. via KTDI Facebook Live and began with a prayer, recited by Mr. Ahmad Faruq bin Azlan.

It was officiated by the principal of KTDI, Lieutenant Colonel Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Noor Azli bin Hj. Ali Khan.

The emcee of the forum was Ms. Anis Shalini and moderated by Ms. Khayrin Nabila.

Dr. Zulfikar bin Ahmad and Dr. Mohammad Naqib bin Hamdan from UTM were invited as the speakers.

This forum managed to attract students from other colleges and universities around Malaysia.

Before the forum started, photography sessions were held together with the principal, speakers and all the participants.

The forum was divided into two sessions. Dr. Zulfikar discussed the issue based on the perspective of psychology. According to him, Tik Tok application can affect human life.

Meanwhile, Dr. Naqib discussed the issue from the perspective of religion. He shared that this application can change someone’s attitudes and beliefs about something.

During the talk, some questions were asked by the participants and the panels patiently answered each and every one of them. Questions and answers session was held before the end of the forum.
