Naib Canselor UTM Mengetuai Delegasi Lawatan Kerja Strategik ke University of Business and Technology, Jeddah, Arab Saudi

Naib Canselor Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail telah menerima jemputan khas bagi mengadakan lawatan kerja ke Arab Saudi di mana lawatan ini dijangka dapat meningkatkan kerjasama strategik serta pertukaran pengalaman saintifik bersama University of Business and Technology (UBT), Jeddah, Arab Saudi bermula 31 Oktober hingga 10 November 2021.

Lawatan beliau ke Arab Saudi ini turut disertai Timbalan Naib Canselor (Penyelidikan dan Inovasi), Prof. Dr. Rosli Md. Illias, Dekan Sekolah Perniagaan Antarabangsa Azman Hashim (AHIBS), Prof. Madya Dr. Rosmini Omar dan Pensyarah Kanan AHIBS, Dr. Haliyana Khalid.

Antara agenda yang telah diatur sepanjang lawatan ini adalah pertemuan dua hala bersama Chairman of the Board of Trustees, UBT, Dr. Abdullah S. Dahlan dan beberapa siri perkongsian ceramah, mesyuarat dan lawatan sekitar kampus. YBhg. Datuk Naib Canselor dalam lawatan rasminya ke UBT akan menyampaikan dua (2) perkongsian khusus berkaitan ‘Technology Inclusion Pathway’ bersama The Highest Education Committee, UBT dan sesi ceramah khas bersama pengurusan UBT berkaitan ‘Research and Innovation in Facing Emerging Global Challenges’.

Dalam rangka lawatan kerja 10 hari ini, Prof. Dr. Rosli Md Illias, Prof. Madya Dr. Rosmini Omar dan Dr. Haliyana Khalid juga akan memberikan ceramah dengan berkongsi kepakaran serta pengalaman mereka khususnya berkaitan ‘UTM Research, Innovation and Commercialization for Societal Prosperity’, ‘AHIBS Academic Program in Facing the Global Trend and Challenges’ dan ‘Research Publication and Collaboration’.

Di akhir siri lawatan ini, YBhg. Datuk Naib Canselor akan menghadiri sesi mesyuarat khas bersama Dr. Abdullah S. Dahlan bagi membincangkan Kerjasama Strategik antara UTM dan UBT berkaitan program akademik, penyelidikan dan juga pembangunan teknologi, di mana ianya akan memberi manfaat jangka masa panjang buat kedua-dua belah pihak.

UTM Vice-Chancellor Leads Strategic Working Visit Delegation to University of Business and Technology, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Ahmad Fauzi bin Ismail received a special invitation for a working visit to Saudi Arabia to enhance strategic cooperation and the exchange of scientific experience with University of Business and Technology (UBT), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 31st October until 10th November 2021.

His visit is accompanied by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof. Dr. Rosli Md. Illias, the Dean of Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosmini Omar and a Senior Lecturer of AHIBS, Dr. Haliyana Khalid.

Among the agendas for this visit are a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, UBT, Dr. Abdullah S. Dahlan and a series of talks, meetings and tours around campus. Datuk Fauzi in his official visit to UBT will give two (2)  talks on ‘Technology Inclusion Pathway’ with The Highest Education Committee, UBT and a special talk session with UBT Management on ‘Research and Innovation in Facing Emerging Global Challenges’.

In this 10-day visit, Prof. Dr. Rosli Md Illias, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosmini Omar and Dr. Haliyana Khalid will also be sharing their expertise and experience especially on ‘UTM Research, Innovation and Commercialization for Societal Prosperity’, ‘AHIBS Academic Program in Facing the Global Trend and Challenges’ and ‘Research Publication and Collaboration’.

At the end of this visit, Datuk Fauzi will attend a special meeting with Dr. Abdullah S. Dahlan to discuss the Strategic Cooperation between UTM and UBT on the academic program, research and also technology development that will provide long-term benefits for both parties.
