Academic Staff from the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying Re-Elected as Committee Members for MGBC Southern Chapter 2021/2022

The Malaysia Green Building Council (Southern Chapter) had successfully held the 3rd Annual General Meeting on 19 Mac 2021 since its establishment in 2019. The meeting was the second e-AGM conducted due to the execution of Controlled Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Johor State. The e-AGM started at 9:00pm via Google Meet and attended by all active members from various backgrounds including Professionals, Academicians, Corporate and Industry Players and students. 

Prof Ts Dr. Mohd Hamdan Ahmad, the present Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) of UTM from Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FABU) was re-elected as Chairperson for Malaysia GBC Southern Chapter 2021/2022. Other than Prof Ts Dr. Mohd Hamdan Ahmad,  2 academic members from FABU UTM were re-elected as board members 2021/2022: Mdm Tantish Kamaruddin (Quantity Surveying Programme) as Honorary Secretary, and Ts Dr. Leng Pau Chung from Architecture Programme as one of the Committee Members.

Prof Ts Dr. Mohd Hamdan Ahmad conveyed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the previous batch of committee members for their hard work and dedication. He also hoped that the new committee will continue to serve the community to increase green awareness, especially among the professionals, academicians, industry players as well as southern region community. The e-AGM was adjourned at 1030pm.
