Persatuan Ukur Bahan dan Pembinaan (QS-Bina) successfully organized an annual dinner known as ” GRADS’19” on 12 April 2019. It was held to celebrate the 4th– year students academic achievements before graduating. The annual dinner was held at Dewan Inderapura, Pulai Spring Resort. This year dinner theme was Coachella.
The dinner was attended by Assoc. Prof. Sr Dr. Razali bin Abdul Hamid, Deputy Dean of Academic and Students’ Affairs, Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Assoc. Prof. Sr Dr. Mohd Saidin bin Misnan and Sr Dr. Zuhaili bin Mohamad Ramly, the advisor of QS-Bina, Assoc. Prof. Sr Dr. Zakaria bin Mohd Yusof, Pn. Tantish binti Kamaruddin and Pn. Fuziah binti Ismail, Lecturers from Department of Quantity Surveying and Ismasyahmi bin Ismaputra, President of Qs-Bina 18/19. The opening ceremony was officiated by Assoc. Prof. Sr Dr. Razali bin Abdul Hamid along with Director of GRADS’19, Ms. Amira Imanina binti Mawardi.
The guests were presented with special gimmick and montage prepared by the dinner crews. Next was an acoustic performance by 2nd year students and 4th year students while the guests were enjoying their dinner. Several games were also held which were participated by both lecturers and students to heat up the event.
The dinner continued with awards-presenting ceremony. Some of those were Best Catwalk Award, Most Talented Award, and The Wow! Award which were determined by online voting and the most awaiting awards were “Coachella’s King and Queen Awards”. King and Queen were chosen among those who had the best outfit according to the given theme.
