JOHOR BAHRU, 10 Nov. – The Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) 61st Convocation ceremony marked a memorable event for 21 officers from the Johor State Government (SUK Johor) who successfully completed their MBA program offered by the Azman Hashim International Business School (AHIBS), UTM.
Celebrating with them was Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah ibni Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah, the fourth Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, who consented to be photographed with the graduates.
This batch of graduates was an outcome of an MoU signed between SUK Johor and UTM (AHIBS) in April 2017, in a meaningful ceremony witnessed by the former Johor Chief Minister.
For the past year, UTM AHIBS has provided training and education to the selected talents through its flagship MBA program with a concentration in Strategic Management.
The MBA classes were conducted in a modular approach during their working days. All 21 officers were fully sponsored by SUK Johor, which further signified its strong commitment towards talent development.
Under the deanship of Prof. Nur Naha Abu Mansor, UTM AHIBS continues its position as a leading business and management education provider. In November 2018, AHIBS will train the senior leaders of SUK Johor in a specially-designed executive development program.
