Implementation of Translational Research in Campus at the Faculty of Civil Engineering was carried out with the aim of helping to reduce road maintenance costs within UTM. This programme entitled ‘Jom Patching Jalan (Let’s Patch the Roads)’ provided practical training to staff and students on the use of Cold Mix Asphalt, and was made possible with the collaboration of JPJ, the Pavement & Transportation Research Group, and the Student Representative Council. As many as 50 students and staff from various faculties were involved in the programme.
