Kuala Lumpur 26 February : A delegation from Kyushu University, Japan comprising 6 senior officials of Graduate School of Engineering and Science, headed by Prof. Dr. Jun Tanimoto, visited UTM Kuala Lumpur today.

The delegation was welcome by Prof. Dato’ Seri Dr. Zaini Ujang, UTM Vice – Chancellor and Dean of Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT). The visit sought to initiate the bilateral collaboration between UTM and Kyushu University in the field of education and research.

Prof. Zaini hoped that the future collaboration would allow the academics and students to exchange their expertise and experience in effective ways. Graduate students of UTM can be jointly supervised through research programmes by both universities.
