Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) academician and researcher, Ts. Dr. Nur Azaliah binti Abu Bakar from Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, UTM Kuala Lumpur, has been appointed as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Ministry of Education Malaysia Enterprise Architecture Development Project (MOE-EA). This project has started at the end of 2019 and is expected to end by Jan 2022.
After the exchange of MoU between JKR and IPTA on BIM at the Centre of Excellence for Engineering and Technology (CREaTE), Alor Gajah, Malacca, a workshop was conducted on 8th September 2020 with the aim to further discuss the MoU in warranting outcomes that optimally aid JKR and public universities. The workshop was considered a success in gathering academia and public authority to further expanding the application of BIM in the nation’s construction industry.
This article is about a Smart Home Organizer Design Competition, a collaborative project between the Bachelor of Science (Industrial Design) program under the RFTI UTM and the furniture design industry. The competition is part of the design project for SRSD2024 (Product Design 2) subject. The program also involved an experience talk session by Executive Director of Infinite Flexible PLT, Mr. Woo Han Sian who is also the alumni from the same program.
The first cohort of 12 candidates from MESTECC, KIMIA Malaysia, Energy Commission, National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia, and Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia had signed up to pursue Master of Professional Science (MPS), a multidisciplinary master’s program to groom graduates capable of leading innovative and competitive organizations by leveraging both science and management knowledge.
