JOHOR BAHRU – The “Singgah Kasih Mahasiswa (SKM) 4.0” community program brought the spirit of volunteerism and compassion to Masjid Al-Jawahir, Mutiara Rini, Johor. This initiative is a follow-up to the successful “Singgah Kasih Mahasiswa 3.0” held in March 2023. It aimed to raise awareness among Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) students about the important role of volunteerism while providing much-needed assistance to the B40 community, who are among the less fortunate.

The program was held on June 29, 2024, and provided essential items to 40 families at the mosque and through direct home visits. Volunteers dedicated their time and effort to preparing and packaging these items, including food supplies, hygiene products, and other necessities.
