On 4th October 2022, the Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics (FTIR) received a delegation from the Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business (CREABIZ), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya, Indonesia.
The delegation was led by Dr. Imam Baihaqi, with six lecturers and one registrar. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the Dean of Razak Fazulty, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Naz’ri bin Mahrib, the faculty executive team members, and the Bachelor Program in Industrial Design coordinators.
The discussion session was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Naz’ri bin Mahrin, starting with a welcoming speech from the Dean. It was then continued with a display of the UTM corporate video and a brief explanation regarding UTM FTIR.
The visit was later concluded with the discussion session for collaborative activities focusing on Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design from both universities. Among the activities to be implemented are academic and student exchange and collaboration in research and publication.
It is hoped that this visit will strengthen the relationship between ITS and UTM and be a starting point for greater collaboration in research and education between the two universities.
