Graduate Employability (GE) Cluster from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) had successfully held an online sharing session, Infographic Resume: How to Do It? (In2it 2021), on 21st December 2021.
The guest speaker for this sharing session was from School of Computing, Faculty of Engineering, UTM, Dr. Noor Hidayah Zakaria.
The sharing session served as a platform for future FSSH graduates in exploring great infographic resume as one of job seekers tools.
It was then believed that this session had added the value of the future FSSH graduates after completing their undergraduate study in FSSH, UTM. Merit points were given to all registered participants too.
This reward was to encourage students to actively involve in any knowledge related activity consistent with UTM co-curriculum day every Tuesday.
FSSH Facebook Live and Webex were used as the platforms for this sharing session.
The use of this online platforms was in line with UTM’s teaching and learning exercise in Semester 1 session 2021/2022 due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Besides, these online platforms gave more flexibility to the participants to take part in the session regardless of their current location.
There were 114 participants from the School of Human Resource Development and Psychology (SHARPS) and 57 participants from the School of Education (SOE). The remaining 65 participants were from other School in UTM.
This two-hour program had covered several contents such as an overview of infographic resume, tips and tricks in creating an infographic resume to ensure the layout makes a coherent sense.
Based on the participants’ feedback during the session, these contents had benefited them to review the basics of infographic creation.
They can also highlight their skills through visual elements.
