One of the Fellows Council’s responsibilities in residential colleges, like Kolej Tun Razak (KTR), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), is to establish a long-term student leaderships capable of developing programmes.

The programmes must be particularly those that are impactful and assist student leaders to be better with their management, planning, and soft skills.

The recent pandemic’s implications are constantly altering how students develop.

Regardless of Covid-19’s negative consequences, we can all agree that we have learned a lot from the experiences.

Indeed, the ‘new normal’ has provided some valuable insights into improving student engagement.

In view of this, the KTR Fellows Council organised the Tun Razak Eagle Leaders Camp 2022 (TREALCA’22), a team building and leadership camp for college student-leaders, from 15th to 17th March 2022.

The camp’s goals for the 2021/2022 session were to cultivate good attitudes including teamwork, identity building, and increasing participants’ generic abilities.

The three-day camp was held in Melaka Agro Farm to instil in them interdependence in team spirit, enhance connections, and increase communication and understanding.

A total of 23 leaders attended the camp, which included both indoor and outdoor activities aimed at improving their leadership, thinking, and personal development skills.

Through all the activities, the leaders were also inspired and encouraged to increase their self-potential and self-awareness.
